Princess Kate's 'Messy' Home Activities with Children

On October 14th, she and her husband, Prince William, visited Long Meadow Farm, an apple orchard in Armagh, known as Ireland's Orchard County. The farm has been in the McKeever family for three generations, producing cider, apple juice, and vinegar since 1968.
During their visit, Kate recalled a fun family activity: "We tried this at home with a hand press. It was quite good fun with the children. It was very messy."

The Princess of Wales also revealed that her youngest son, Prince Louis, has a unique obsession. "We keep finding conkers in cupboards, in his bed – conkers everywhere!" she laughed, sharing the adorable details of Louis' hobby. Mr. Fields, the Chief Scout, smiled as Kate described how Louis even puts the conkers in his toy trucks and plays with them.

In a light-hearted moment, Kate expressed her desire to drive at full speed with the sirens on, a wish that was met with a polite 'no' from the driver. The visit to the new Learning and Development College, which opened in May, provided an opportunity for the royal couple to interact with newly qualified firefighters, like Caoimhe McNeice, who joined them for a ride in a fire engine.
